Nobu Re-opens in Hong Kong

With the re-opening of the Regent Hong Kong brings with it the highly anticipated return of Nobu, the world-renowned restaurant created by celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro. Nobu’s culinary team will be headed by Executive Chef Jason Au, a veteran of modern Japanese and Asian cuisine. Chef Jason was classically trained in western cuisine in the USA and found his niche when joining Nobu 57 in New York in 2007. Known for its unique fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, showcasing the finest ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. Guests can once again indulge in Nobu's iconic dishes, including the famous Black Cod with Miso, Yellowtail Jalapeño, and Toro Tartare with Caviar. The menu also features South American-inspired creations like Tirodito and Nobu Ceviche, paying homage to chef Nobu's time in Peru.

In partnership with JIA Group's Yenn Wong and chef-owner Manav Tuli (of Rosewoods “Chaat”), Leela is a new modern Indian restaurant located in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Test Kitchen Hosts South African-Inspired 3-day Pop-up With Chef Rikku  (16 - 18 Nov)

Test Kitchen is thrilled to announce an exclusive 3-day pop-up event from November 16-18 featuring acclaimed Chef Rikku. The event will include an 8-course South African-inspired tasting menu priced at HKD 1480 per person. Expect one-of-a-kind dishes that are not only delicious but are utterly thought-provoking. He has worked in Michelin kitchens worldwide with stints from the ‘Godfather of Modern Cookery,’ Marco Pierre White, in 2007 to the acclaimed The French Laundry and The Fat Duck. Flat Iron Steak Pop-Up at Macelle: A Steak Experience That Won't Break the Bank

Flat Iron Steak's pop-up takes over Macelle's space in SoHo from now until the end of the year. The unique flat-iron cut is tender prime steak prepared using seam butchery. Lunch is a seven-ounce steak for HK$150 while dinner offers a choice of 12-ounce cuts for HK$198, served with fries or salad.
