Diwali Activities – All Throughout November

Hong Kong is filled with dazzling activities in celebration of Diwali, the most important Hindu festival. On Nov. 4, Pong LKF is bringing Bollywood hits to the city, complete with glittering ‘fits and high-energy beats. Also at LKF, groove to DJ Raz’s tunes at Graffiti on Nov. 9, while enjoying sips and nibbles - each ticket comes with two hours of free-flowing drinks.

The New World Harbour Race – Nov. 12

Back for the first time since the pandemic, the New World Harbour Race takes Hong Kong’s largest cross-harbour swimming competition to new heights. At 4,000 participants, this is the event’s biggest iteration thus far.

Speaking of firsts, organisers will also launch the Harbour Playpark featuring six Instagrammable photo spots along Victoria Harbour. Applications have already ended, but you can swing by to take snaps with the large floats in the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade.

Macau Grand Prix – Nov. 11-12 and 16-19

Fasten your seatbelts and head over to Macau for an adrenaline-fueled experience at the much anticipated 70th Macau Grand Prix in 2023. Five races will headline the first week: Macau Formula 4 Race, TCR Asia Challenge, Greater Bay Area GT Cup (GT3), Greater Bay Area GT Cup (GT4), and the Macau Roadsport Challenge. These races will showcase the skill and precision of some of the best drivers in the world.

After that, six F3 races will continue the excitement into the second week: the Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix - FIA F3 World Cup, Macau GT Cup - FIA GT World Cup, Macau Guia Race - Kumho TCR World Tour Event of Macau, Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix - 55th Edition, Macau Touring Car Cup – China Touring Car Championship, and Macau Grand Prix 70th Anniversary Challenge.

But the Macau Grand Prix is more than just thrilling races. Event organisers have prepared a series of activities to hype up the atmosphere. Kick off the festivities at the Macau Grand Prix Family Carnival, held at Tap Seac Square from Nov. 4 to 5, where children can also experience the excitement of the Guia Circuit through a simulated track.

Thanksgiving – Nov. 23, 2023

Thanksgiving Celebrations in Hong Kong 2023

With the Autumnal chill in the air, Thanksgiving marks the season where families and loved ones get together to celebrate the year’s bountiful harvest and joyous moments. Mark your calendars for Dec. 1 to 3, as Central Harbourfront transforms into a vibrant playground for music lovers at Clockenflap Festival 2023.

Leading the charge on Day 1 is sensational Japanese super-duo, Yoasobi.  On Day 2, get ready to revel in the iconic sounds of Britpop legends, Pulp, as they take the stage by storm. Let their infectious energy and timeless hits transport you to the golden era of indie rock! And as the grand finale on Day 3, Japanese rap and R&B heartthrob Joji will take over the stage as a stop of his “PANDEMONIUM” World tour. Other artists to watch out for at December’s edition of Clockenflap 2023 are Campanella, D4vd, Running Youth, Idles, Science Noodles, and Caroline Polachek.
