Hong Kong Art Month 2024 – March Art Basel Hong Kong Pearl Lam Gallery

Unofficially dubbed the city’s Art Month, March transforms Hong Kong into an art lover's paradise. Central to this celebration are Art Basel Hong Kong and Art Central, showcasing modern and contemporary art from global and local galleries. Concurrently, the city's streets become a canvas for HKWalls, a festival dedicated to street art and murals. The month also kicks off with a tribute to local street art and culture at the M+ museum space, on March. 1. For cinephiles, the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) offers a diverse selection of moving images. Meanwhile, the 52nd Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) promises a rich lineup of live performing arts experiences, catering to a wide range of tastes and interests.

ALT-BASEL Hong Kong 2024 – March. 26

ALT-BASEL, a local initiative in Hong Kong, presents an alternative to traditional art galleries with its community-centric approach. This event is a vibrant showcase of Hong Kong's cultural diversity, featuring nightclubs, grassroots visual arts communities, and cabaret.

The program includes thought-provoking keynote speeches by De Kai, Jason Swamy, and Andrew Bull, engaging panel discussions, captivating performances, and captivating art displays that celebrate and reflect Hong Kong's rich cultural identity. Renowned artists and performers such as Diana D'Arenberg, Phil D, Vita Starkin & The Chaos, and Stuart Palm contribute their dynamic energy to the night, while the artworks of Nick Teeple, Andreas Von Buddenbrock, Alvin Ck Lam, Rvzr, Jum, and Shawn P Griffin add a visually stunning dimension.

Attendees can look forward to exploring a marketplace brimming with the latest offerings from over 200 pioneering brands, artists, and creators at the forefront of global trends. The event is set to dazzle with live performances headlined by 21 Savage, complemented by a lineup of hip-hop stars from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

Jungle Island Music Festival 2024 – March. 15-17
