HYROX Hong Kong
Open to individuals of every fitness level, HYROX is a renowned racing competition featured in the Hong Kong Fitness + Wellness Expo 2023. Dubbed the world series of fitness racing, HYROX combines running with functional fitness activities and provides the perfect opportunity to showcase your strength, endurance, and determination.
Participants can choose from four divisions. Single Open offers a relatively easy race, perfect for beginners. For experienced individuals who want to challenge themselves by lifting heavier weights, the Single Pro division is the best fit.
The Doubles race is for couples and friends who want to tackle challenges together, while the Relay division is tailor-made for four people, making it the most accessible version of the race.
HYROX takes place on indoor racecourses, kicking off with a 1km run and followed by one functional fitness movement, repeating this sequence a total of eight times. Since its inception in Germany in 2017, HYROX has expanded globally, spanning 11 countries and 30 metropoles, and boasting more than 50,000 finishers per year.
HYROX consists of the following workouts: SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, and Wall Balls.
