This is not a drill, we repeat, this is not a drill –, HypeFest is coming to Hong Kong! Previously hosted in New York City and Hangzhou, HypeFest will showcase a lineup of international musicians and pop-ups.
This year’s festival will take place on November 9 and 10 at the Central Harbourfront Event Space. The lineup will continue the festival’s commitment to cross genre lines, with hip-hop as the main event, and including genres such as R&B and Pop.
The lineup for the recent Hangzhou festival in August included Offset, Tinashe, Ma Siwei, JID, Wan Nida, KnowKnow, DIGI GHETTO, Li Daben, Awich, ØZI, and Tyson Yoshi. It’s safe to say that you can get ready for some massive names to take over the weekend in Hong Kong with world class live music! In addition to music, HypeFest will also incorporate a variety of interesting experiential pop-up activities, inviting the local and international fashion community to participate and join in on creation, aiming to provide a unique carnival experience for every audience.
Hypebeast debuted Hypefest in 2018 in New York City. The event hosted more than 10,000 attendees over a two-day period, and tickets for the event sold out within 3 minutes upon release.
