Zeman introduced Halloween celebrations to LKF about 25 years ago, starting with a small gathering that primarily attracted Westerners. “The first year it was all the westerners, the gweilos, who dressed up,” Zeman recalled in an interview with HK Magazine. “Then slowly, the second year, I started to see a few Chinese dressing up, and then the third year more Chinese dressing up. Then today it’s become almost a national holiday in Hong Kong.”
